Synopsis

Kanan is a demon who comes to the human world for one reason: to eat young human souls, which she considers the ultimate delicacy. She disguises herself as a high school student and picks out her first victim—a totally ordinary guy named Youji Kyougi. But right when she's about to make her move, everything goes sideways. Instead of devouring him, she accidentally ends up in a "romantic contract" with Youji. For a demon who's been around for thousands of years and has never experienced love, high school dating is somehow way scarier than hunting. Awkward dates, nervous hand-holding, confusing new feelings—the whole thing leaves her flustered and out of her depth. It's a supernatural romcom about a demon falling for the boy who was supposed to be her meal. Sweet, chaotic, and full of firsts for someone who's literally lived forever.
