Synopsis

Hajime Sekiguchi used to sell life insurance—not exactly thrilling work. One day he gets desperate enough to try something completely different: becoming a host at Club One. The place is full of weird characters. There's a "younger brother" type who's been doing this for twenty years, a former idol who's basically mastered the art of romantic manipulation, and some hyper-aggressive guy who's constantly playing mobile games. Hajime's pretty sure this job requires you to have lost your mind, but his old sales skills turn out to transfer surprisingly well. Before long, he's actually built himself a solid client base in an industry he never expected to work in.
