Synopsis

In Universal Century 0079, the Earth Federation and Zeon are locked in the brutal One Year War. During a raid, ace Zeon pilot Char Aznable steals the Gundam, a cutting-edge mobile suit, and uses it to turn the tide of battle. But a strange accident involving the Gundam's technology causes Char to vanish without a trace, taking his iconic red suit with him. Six years later, scattered fighting continues across the colonies. Machu Yuzuriha is a teenage girl living a mundane life on a space station with her mother—bored out of her mind while her classmates grind through cram school. Everything changes when the Gundam QuuuuuuX, a state-of-the-art mobile suit, crash-lands near her home. Machu discovers she's a natural pilot and uses it to repel Federation forces, with help from a mysterious guy named Shuuji Itou, who pilots a Gundam that looks eerily similar to Char's lost machine. Unknown to Machu, their fight catches the attention of some mobile suit enthusiasts who compete in duo battles as a sport. Hungry for excitement and real connections, Machu teams up with Shuuji and starts competing in increasingly intense clan matches. But as they rise through the ranks, bigger conflicts begin to surface—and the two of them might be caught right in the middle.
