Synopsis

A merchant named Banaza gets summoned to the magical kingdom of Klyrode as a would-be hero to fight the Dark Army. Problem is, he doesn't get the usual power boost that hero candidates receive, and he's stuck in this world with no way home. As a consolation prize, they exile him to a distant forest. Once he arrives, Banaza levels up just once and suddenly becomes absurdly overpowered—though he has no clue what to do with these powers. To keep a low profile, he changes his look and takes on the name Flio. While exploring, he meets Fenrys, a young demi-human girl who turns out to be a wolf demon. She attacks him, but Flio's overwhelming magic forces her to surrender and pledge her loyalty. Flio doesn't want that kind of control over her though, so instead they strike up a deal: they'll pose as a married couple and start fresh together.
