Tomohiro Izumi—a total introvert, by his own admission and everyone else's—is just trying to have another unremarkable day in his usual spot at the back of class. Then comes the announcement: "Congrats! You're the new student council president!" The academy decided to pick the president by random lottery, and of course Tomohiro's ridiculous luck lands him in the winner's circle. Suddenly he's got everyone's attention, and rumors start flying. Desperate for backup, he gets his advisor to help recruit some allies. But here's the thing—literally none of the candidates his advisor suggests show up to campus. Not Kano from his class, not his underclassman Asumi, not even his little sister Hiyori. Everything's spiraling. Then, out of nowhere, the previous president Shio appears—the one person nobody could ever track down. Is this destiny, or was it inevitable from the start? Either way, the bizarre saga of the "Lottery President" student council is about to kick off.
