Synopsis

Loosely based on the classic Arabian Nights tale, this story is set over 1200 years ago and follows Sindbad, a curious and mischievous kid who sneaks into the royal palace one night to catch some acrobatic performances. That's when it hits him—there's a whole world out there beyond Baghdad. Inspired by his uncle Captain Ali's seafaring stories, Sindbad decides he's going to become a sailor and see it for himself. He leaves a note for his dad, jumps aboard Captain Ali's ship with his companion, a myna bird named Sheila, and sets off on what becomes the adventure of a lifetime.
