Teppei's heading to see his older brother Kotaro at a scientific conference after spending the last eleven years training under a mysterious woman named Karen. But the reunion gets derailed when a woman named Aramis crashes the event, kills everyone there, and kidnaps Kotaro. As Teppei rushes to save him, he stumbles across a broken-down mechanical horse called B't X. When B't X comes into contact with Teppei's blood, it suddenly springs back to life and becomes his partner. Now the two of them have to track down Kotaro and take on the sinister Machine Empire that's holding him.
