An evil entity called Violenjiger brings back nine of Destron's most brutal generals from history. During a rescue mission on a doomed planet, Cybertron's leader Victory Saber gets badly damaged, forcing him to hand control over to Dai-Atlas. Now it's up to Dai-Atlas and his ally Sonic Bomber to defend Earth from Violenjiger's forces and keep a powerful crystal called the Zodiac from falling into enemy hands.
