Synopsis

Toshiko Ei lives in Tokyo with her family, where her father works as a talented glassblower—a craft that keeps them comfortable and well-off. But their stable life doesn't last. When World War II hits, the family gets caught up in the devastation and has to endure a series of devastating losses.
