Synopsis

It's set in a futuristic world where psychic powers are everywhere. People called Headmeters can display their power level on their foreheads during combat, and most far outclass the protagonist, Kei. He was an experimental subject whose abilities maxed out at level 5—practically nothing compared to other Headmeters. But when Ai, a young girl he's protecting, is in danger, something changes. His power shoots up to infinity, something that shouldn't be possible. The catch? Ai's carrying a secret that could destroy civilization itself, which is why they're constantly running. Someone dangerous is hunting them down, aided by a small man in a mechanical suit. Eventually Ai gets captured, forcing Kei to team up with a Sherlock Holmes-style detective and another Headmeter to rescue her. That second ally was actually working against them at first, but after witnessing Kei's reality-breaking powers unleashed through Ai, he switched sides. Now the trio has to figure out what Ai's secret really is and who she actually is—before it's too late.
