Synopsis

Kanako transfers to Ame no Kisaki, an all-girls Catholic school, hoping to find true love—inspired by her parents' own romance that bloomed there years ago. There's just one catch: she's allergic to men, so she's specifically looking for a girlfriend. When she meets the gorgeous Mariya Shidou, Kanako thinks she's finally found her person. Except Mariya's got a secret—she's actually a guy in disguise. Worse, he blackmails Kanako into keeping quiet about it by threatening to out her true intentions to the whole school. And if that wasn't enough, he manipulates his way into becoming her roommate so he can keep tabs on her. Maria†Holic follows Kanako as she desperately hunts for her dream girl while dealing with the chaos of having a scheming cross-dressing boy as her roommate.
