Synopsis

Three years ago, interdimensional monsters called the Disas invaded Earth and wrecked everything. Normal weapons were useless against them, so humanity's only shot at survival came from humans who turned into magical girls after teaming up with the Spirit Realm—entities that had chased the Disas here. After brutal fighting, the magical girl squad won, and the five survivors became known as the Magical Five. After the war ended, the group split up. Kurumi, Mia, Tamara, and Lau each went their separate ways in military service, while their leader Asuka decided to actually retire and try being a normal high school student. That didn't last long though. Turns out some of the Disas survived too, which means Asuka gets pulled back into fighting whether she likes it or not—and this time around, things look even worse than before.
