They Were Eleven
11-nin Iru!
After the Interstellar Alliance brought peace to most of the known universe, they founded the Cosmo Academy—basically the most prestigious school around. Graduates are essentially guaranteed to land whatever job they want. The catch? Getting in is brutally competitive. You have to pass entrance exams that only happen once every three years. Lane Tadatos, a Terran, made it to the final round. He and nine other candidates are sent to the Esperanza, an abandoned ship in orbit, where they need to survive for 53 days with zero outside contact except for an emergency forfeit button. Sounds rough, but manageable. Except there's a problem. When they do a headcount, there are 11 people on the ship. One of them doesn't belong. One of them is an impostor.
