Synopsis

Mari Tamaki's always been fascinated by the universe and what's out there, but anxiety and self-doubt have kept her from actually pursuing her dreams. Now a sophomore in high school, she's tired of wasting time—she just needs the push to actually go for it. That push comes when she meets Shirase Kobuchizawa, a girl working tirelessly to fund a trip to Antarctica to find her missing mother. Inspired by Shirase's determination, Mari decides to join her. Their goal catches the attention of two other girls: Hinata Miyake, who wants to make a name for herself, and Yuzuki Shiraishi, a refined girl from a wealthy family. With their small group assembled, the four of them set off for Antarctica, each chasing something meaningful in the frozen continent.
