Synopsis

Kyoichiro, the eldest son of a wealthy family, left his home in Momoki Village to study at Tokyo's prestigious Imperial University. He brought his family's heirloom katana with him—along with a troubling ability: he can see spirits of the dead. He's generally optimistic about his future, though he wishes the ghosts weren't quite so terrifying to look at. Then he wakes up one day and realizes he got his wish. Sort of. He's become significantly smaller and much cuter. Not exactly the solution he had in mind. Before he can process what's happened to him, Kyoichiro gets pulled into a supernatural conflict involving multiple factions: sections of the Imperial Japanese Army trying to create an undead soldier army, a mysterious stranger with unclear motives, and an anti-government group called the Five Katana. His life goes from complicated to completely chaotic.
