Synopsis

As kids, Mira Kinohata and Ao Manaka crossed paths for a brief moment. Ao was into stargazing, and he shared that passion with Mira—showing her planets, constellations, the whole cosmic picture. Before they went their separate ways, Ao mentioned something that stuck with Mira: there's a star named after her, but nothing for him. She made a promise right then—someday, she'd discover an asteroid and name it after Ao. Fast forward to high school. Mira's still obsessed with astronomy, and when she tries to join Hoshizaki Academy's Astronomy Club, she gets disappointing news. The club merged with the Geology Club to form an Earth Sciences Club. Not ideal, but she joins anyway. Turns out it's the best thing that could've happened, because Ao's there too. They finally reunite after years apart. Now Mira and Ao have their chance to actually follow through on that childhood promise. They team up with their new clubmates to hunt for an asteroid. How hard could that possibly be?
