Synopsis

In a world where demons, cyclopes, and all sorts of monsters are the norm, humans are basically extinct—or close to it. Turns out they started some massive war that nearly wiped themselves out, and now the few survivors are hunted down and eaten like food. Nobody sees them as anything but prey. A golem—basically a nature guardian who wanders around—stumbles across a human girl during his patrol and decides to take her under his wing. The girl's name is Somali, and her enthusiasm wins him over. The two of them set off together to track down her parents and get her back home.
