Natsume's Book of Friends Season 5
Natsume Yuujinchou Go
Takashi Natsume can see youkai—spirits that are invisible to everyone else. He keeps this ability under wraps around his family and friends, mostly to avoid causing problems. But that doesn't stop him from helping the friendly youkai he meets. Using a notebook called the Book of Friends that he inherited from his grandmother Reiko, he returns the names of youkai who'd had them stolen, which is basically freeing them from servitude. The Matoba clan, a family of exorcists, keeps trying to recruit him because they're impressed by his power. Natsume turns them down repeatedly—and for good reason. While his friend Shuuichi Natori is reasonable enough, most exorcists just seal away every youkai they come across without thinking twice. That doesn't sit right with Natsume. Fed up with his refusals, Seiji Matoba forces Natsume to attend a major exorcist gathering by threatening him. Suddenly Natsume's surrounded by powerful exorcists and dangerous youkai, caught in the middle of two worlds. Still, he refuses to go along with their ruthless approach. He's convinced that humans and youkai can actually coexist peacefully—if anyone would just try.
