Steins;Gate 0
Rintarou Okabe is a shadow of his former self. Once an eccentric self-proclaimed mad scientist, he's now depressed and traumatized after failing to save his friend Makise Kurisu. He's abandoned that persona entirely, trying to live as a normal college student and forget everything that happened. His friends don't know about his time travel experiences, and he wants to keep it that way. While working as a receptionist at a tech forum, Okabe meets Maho Hiyajo, a short and energetic woman who turns out to be interpreting for the event's main presentation. Her colleague, Professor Alexis Leskinen, is there to showcase Amadeus—an AI that can store a person's memories and create a perfect digital simulation of them, complete with personality and mannerisms. After the presentation, Okabe gets a shock: Alexis and Maho knew Kurisu from university, and they've simulated her in Amadeus. Alexis hires him to study the simulation's behavior, which means Okabe gets a chance to interact with a version of the person he couldn't save. But getting close to this digital ghost of Kurisu pulls him back into the dangerous territory of time travel and its consequences. Now he has to face some hard truths while trying to avoid triggering another disaster.
