It's been 35 years since Lynn Minmay ended the war between humans and Zentradi through the power of song. Now, Nekki Basara is a guitarist and singer for Fire Bomber, a band living in the poorer districts of City 7—a massive flying colony searching for a habitable world. Basara is convinced that music has real power, and he pours that belief into everything he writes and performs. Things take a dark turn when an unknown alien race attacks City 7. But they're not interested in conventional warfare. Instead, they drain something called "spiritia" from people, leaving victims in a zombie-like state. Undeterred, Basara does what he always does: he grabs his guitar, walks straight into the chaos of battle, and sings. He genuinely believes his music can reach both allies and enemies alike, moving them to something better.
