Nano Invaders follows 11-year-old Hikaru, who gets pulled into an intergalactic conflict when he tries on a mysterious bracelet belonging to his classmate Mimi—and transforms into a monster. Turns out Mimi's family is an elite scouting unit from the planet Anima, and they've been watching for trouble. When invaders from the rival planet Damon attack the city, Hikaru teams up with Mimi's family to fight back. The whole battle gets broadcast on live TV, instantly turning Hikaru and the aliens into celebrities. Hikaru's thrilled to finally live his dream of being a hero, totally oblivious to the fact that Mimi's family has their own agenda: conquering Earth.
