Federation pilot Io Fleming finds himself facing off against Daryl Lorenz, one of Zeon's best, along with his crew of skilled snipers. Both sides have capable soldiers who refuse to give ground, maneuvering strategically through the wreckage of destroyed colonies. Everything changes when Io gets his hands on a prototype Gundam. Now Daryl's backed into a corner. He'll have to make a serious sacrifice to get the firepower he needs to take down his rival and keep Zeon in the fight—otherwise he watches his entire squad get torn apart by one guy in a mobile suit.
