Synopsis

Three months after a hero took down the Demon King, humanity's throwing a celebration—but the demons? Not so much. Without a ruler, the demon world needs a new king, so they're holding a tournament to figure out who that'll be. Vamirio, one of the Four Heavenly Kings, is overseeing the whole thing. She's strong and quick to anger, but there's one competitor she absolutely doesn't trust: Helck, a human hero who claims to despise his own kind. She'd love to eliminate him, except he's way too powerful and weirdly popular with the other demons. Then things get weird. Humans start vanishing from towns across the realm, and Vamirio's convinced Helck's behind it somehow. She becomes obsessed with figuring out what he's really after. Her plan? Carefully orchestrate his defeat in the tournament and force him to reveal whose side he's actually on—before the demon world gets caught in whatever he's plotting.
