Synopsis

Black Cat Cafe sits in the fifth ward of the Imperial Capital, staffed by Automata—advanced mechanical dolls that have been repurposed after becoming obsolete following the war's end a few years back. Dressed in elegant kimonos, they've transitioned to cafe work, though the past refuses to let them move on. Haunted by the weight of their former responsibilities, they struggle to find peace in this new world. Haizakura is one of these Automata, recently reactivated but with no memory of who she was before the reset. She doesn't know her identity or role in this strange new life, but she's got one thing going for her—an incredible singing voice. Driven by curiosity and equipped with songs that seem to resonate with those around her, Haizakura and the other Automata set out together to figure out what comes next, leaning on each other through whatever comes their way.
