Synopsis

Six thousand years ago, demons invaded and nearly wiped out humanity. Seventy-two demon gods led the assault, forcing mankind to the brink of extinction. The Alliance of Temples stepped in to hold back the tide and keep humanity from disappearing entirely. Now, in the present day, nine-year-old Long Hao Chen is training to become a knight. He works hard, gets support from his friends, and manages to pass the knight exam. His teacher, Long Xing Yu, puts him through the Holy Resurrection Ritual to test his abilities. The ritual confirms what Long Xing Yu suspected: Long Hao Chen is a Son of Light, someone with an unusually massive reserve of spiritual energy. Impressed by his student's potential, Long Xing Yu pushes Long Hao Chen to become powerful enough to stand beside him and take down the Demon Lord. With tough trials ahead, Long Hao Chen might just be the one to finally end humanity's age of darkness.
