Synopsis

Himari Kino is the kind of girl who can befriend anyone—she's naturally cheerful and outgoing. When she starts high school, she catches a performance by Yori Asanagi, a quiet upperclassman in a band, and immediately falls for her. Right after the show, Himari just blurts out a confession, which completely blindsides Yori, who's got zero experience with romance. Confused and looking for guidance from her friends and music, Yori decides to give this relationship a shot. But here's the thing—she quickly realizes Himari is actually in love with her music and stage presence, not with her as a person. That stings, but instead of backing off, Yori becomes determined to make Himari fall for the real her. The two start hanging out on the school rooftop after classes, where Yori plays guitar and tries to win her over for real this time.
