Synopsis

Ken Usato is your average high schooler who's desperate for something—anything—to break up the monotony of his daily life. He gets his wish when he's suddenly transported to another world, along with Kazuki Ryuusen and Suzune Inukami, two star students from his school's student council. The kingdom of Llinger greets them as heroes destined to stop the Demon Lord's incoming invasion. There's just one problem: it's all a mistake. Usato was never supposed to be summoned in the first place, and unlike his friends, he's definitely not a hero material. The silver lining? Usato discovers he has a natural talent for healing magic—and it's incredibly rare. This gets him noticed by Rose, the no-nonsense captain of the kingdom's Rescue Team, who basically drafts him on the spot. Under her brutal training regimen, Usato pushes himself hard, determined to become strong enough to actually protect Kazuki and Suzune when things get real.
