Synopsis

Nian Bing's parents—a fire mage and an ice mage—were killed by the Ice Lord, leaving him with both of their magic gems. While fleeing from the Ice Lord's forces, Nian Bing managed to pull off something that should've been impossible: casting fire and ice magic simultaneously. The effort knocked him off a cliff. An old man found him unconscious and saved his life. When Nian Bing came to, the guy cooked him something so incredibly delicious that it literally changed his perspective on food. Turns out this old man is a legendary chef—a "spirit chef"—and he's determined to make Nian Bing his apprentice, whether Nian Bing likes it or not. So now Nian Bing's got two goals: get stronger and seek revenge against the Ice Lord, all while becoming the greatest chef alive.
