Synopsis

A new school year starts at Yuigaoka Girls' High School, and Liella!, the school's idol club, is eager to bring in fresh members. Problem is, they're so talented and popular that first-years are intimidated—worried they won't be able to keep up with the club's intense training. That's where Kanon Shibuya comes in. The club leader and co-founder spots first-year Kinako Sakurakouji and introduces her to the world of school idols. Kinako's blown away by what she learns, but honestly, she doesn't think she's got what it takes. She's just average, and the Liella! members are anything but. Still, Kanon encourages her to join anyway. Kinako agrees, and soon she's part of the group—working toward their shared goal of winning the Love Live! Competition and reaching for the stars.
