Synopsis

Pero is a sword-fighting cat in boots who gets sentenced to death for the crime of showing mercy to a mouse. He breaks out and hits the road, eventually joining forces with a gang of bandit mice and Pierre, a young orphan who got screwed out of his inheritance. Things get interesting when Pero hears that Princess Rose is looking for a husband. He decides Pierre should be the one to win her heart. The problem? Rose is already been promised to Lucifer, a brutal ogre. So Pero starts lying through his teeth to make Rose fall for Pierre, spinning tales that are basically pure fiction. Pierre has to play along and live up to this fake heroic version of himself, but he's nervous—Rose might be great, but winning her means standing up to the Devil himself, and that's no small thing.
