The club struggles to recruit new members, but they're hoping to find fresh talent as the school year begins. Yura Yamato, a shy freshman, has trouble connecting with people. She soon realizes her mysteriously absent roommate is seriously into military culture, with an impressive collection of memorabilia and movies—plus an airsoft Desert Eagle replica. When a C3 Club member spots Yura acting out an action movie scene and drags her to a practice match, she's hooked despite being on the losing team. Back at the dorm, her roommate Sonora Kashima reveals herself as the club's president and extends an invitation. Another thrilling match is all it takes for Yura to join up. With Sonora and the team's support, Yura discovers a passion for airsoft she never knew she had and starts coming out of her shell.
