Synopsis

Takaya Ougi is a high school student who just wants to protect his best friend and live a normal life—until Nobutsuna Naoe shows up and drops the bomb that Takaya is actually the reincarnation of Lord Kagetora. Naoe himself is a possessor, and he awakens Takaya's latent abilities to exorcise spirits and fight against the Feudal Underworld. Most reincarnated possessors remember their past lives, but Takaya doesn't—which Naoe is quietly grateful for, given how intense and complicated their relationship was back then. As Takaya grows stronger and gets better control over his powers, fragmented memories start coming back to him about what Naoe did in the name of his love for him. Meanwhile, the Hojo and Fuma clans launch their assault, and the Feudal Underworld begins bleeding into the real world.
