Synopsis

Centuries ago, Titans—massive, humanoid creatures—nearly wiped out humanity. The survivors sealed themselves behind three enormous concentric walls to stay safe. What makes Titans especially horrifying is that they eat humans for sport, not sustenance. For a hundred years, humanity lived peacefully behind these barriers without a single Titan sighting. Then everything changes when a colossal Titan somehow breaches the outer wall, ending the fragile truce and forcing humans back into a desperate fight for survival. Eren Yeager witnesses his mother's death during the breach and swears to eliminate every last Titan. He joins the Survey Corps, an elite military unit that ventures outside the walls to fight Titans directly. Alongside his adoptive sister Mikasa and childhood friend Armin, Eren throws himself into the brutal war, desperate to discover a way to defeat the Titans before the remaining walls fall and humanity is wiped out for good.
