Synopsis

Deadman Wonderland Ganta Igarashi is just another student looking forward to a field trip—his class is headed to Deadman Wonderland, a prison amusement park where inmates perform dangerous stunts for paying spectators. Things go catastrophically wrong when a man dressed entirely in red slaughters his entire class. Framed for the massacre and condemned to death, Ganta finds himself imprisoned in the very place he'd been visiting as a tourist. His real ordeal begins once he's inside. Ganta enters a brutal world of sadistic prisoners and strange supernatural abilities. A collar around his neck slowly poisons him, and his only chance of survival is winning increasingly deadly games. He has to navigate a prison where trust is dangerous, constantly battling other inmates while hunting for the mysterious Red Man in hopes of clearing his name. It's kill or be killed, and the truth about what really happened is somewhere buried in the chaos.
