Synopsis

Joutarou Aragaki, a legendary gymnast known as "Samurai" for his distinctive hair, suffered a devastating shoulder injury after his wife died. Five years have passed, and he's still competing for Japan's gymnastics team, but he's hit a wall—his training isn't paying off anymore. His coach finally tells him it's time to hang it up. Joutarou decides to take his cheerful nine-year-old daughter Rei to an amusement park to break the news gently. That's when a weird self-proclaimed ninja named Leonardo shows up and crashes their day, following them home and constantly interrupting every attempt Joutarou makes to have the conversation. When Leonardo mentions wanting to see Joutarou's gymnastics one more time, something clicks. Instead of retiring, Joutarou shocks the country by announcing he's staying in the sport. He's now determined to prove he still deserves his place in the gymnastics world—and this time, it's the biggest challenge of his career.
