Synopsis

Ichiko Sakura has it all. She's smart, beautiful, wealthy, and absurdly lucky—everything just works out for her. Meanwhile, Momiji Binboda, a poverty goddess, is the exact opposite. She's perpetually broke, constantly injured, flat-chested, and literally lives in a cardboard box under a bridge. When their paths cross, Momiji drops a bomb: Ichiko's incredible luck isn't natural—she's unconsciously stealing it from everyone around her, leaving them completely drained. Momiji's been sent to take back that fortune before people start dropping dead from sheer bad luck. Ichiko isn't going down without a fight, though. With help from Bobby Statice, a wandering monk, she manages to drive Momiji off. But the goddess won't quit. She comes back with backup: her teddy bear familiar Kumagai and Momoo Inugami, a masochistic dog god who's way too into getting beaten up. Cue absolute chaos. Ichiko's peaceful life turns into a never-ending battle royale over her fortune, and she's going to need every ounce of that luck just to survive what comes next in Binbougami ga!!
