Synopsis

Makoto Niwa keeps score of his life—literally tallying up positive and negative experiences like he's grading his own adolescence. When his parents head overseas, he moves to a new town to stay with his aunt. It's the fresh start he's been hoping for. But his vision of a perfectly ordinary high school life doesn't account for one thing: a mysterious cousin he's never even heard of. Enter Erio Touwa. She's Makoto's age, but that's where the similarities end. Instead of going to school, Erio spends her days wrapped up in a futon. Oh, and she claims to be an alien—and acts like it too. So much for that normal youth Makoto had planned. As he gets pulled into the orbit of Erio and various other weird girls around town, Makoto's carefully calculated life points start tanking into the red. But maybe there's something unexpectedly amazing about having an abnormal adolescence after all.
