Synopsis

Saya Kisaragi lives a double life—mild-mannered schoolgirl by day, monster hunter by night. Armed with a ceremonial sword her father gave her, she's spent years protecting her village from the creatures that threaten it. But her world gets turned upside down when she overhears the monsters talking about a broken covenant she's never even heard of. Then a mysterious dog shows up and starts asking unsettling questions: who exactly did she promise to protect the village for? What happens if she breaks that promise? As strange visions plague her and reality starts to crack apart, Saya has to dig deeper to figure out what's actually going on. Because nothing in her village is what it seems, and the truth is way more complicated than she ever imagined.
