Synopsis

Long before Rikuo Nura came into the world, his ancestor Nurarihyon—leader of the legendary Night Parade of One Hundred Demons—fell in love with a human woman. For a while they were happy together, but their relationship fell apart when the powerful fox-demon Hagoromo Gitsune showed up and threatened to destroy everything. Now Rikuo has stepped into his role as heir to the Nura Clan. He's made peace with his youkai heritage, though keeping the existence of demons a secret is easier said than done—especially with the Keikain clan of onmyouji hunters sniffing around and his friend Kiyotsugu's obsession with all things supernatural. Still, Rikuo's willing to do whatever it takes to protect the people he cares about. Then Hagoromo Gitsune reemerges. She's got a personal grudge against his family and is willing to burn the world down to get what she wants. And suddenly, everything's on the line. This is the fight Rikuo's been dreading, and he's about to find himself at the center of an all-out war.
