Synopsis

During computer class, Saneatsu Narita sees a strange yes-or-no question flash across his screen—then it vanishes. The next morning, he wakes up to find nearly everyone dead. Only a handful of people are left alive. A mysterious figure calling himself the Emperor explains what's happening: Saneatsu and the survivors are trapped in a deadly game called Tasuuketsu. Every day, a new question appears on their screens. Whatever answer the majority picks, those people die. The last person standing gets to meet the Emperor. Saneatsu decides he's going to win this thing. He's got a small group of friends to back him up, and he knows there are hidden envelopes scattered around that contain special powers. The catch is that the other players are just as desperate and willing to manipulate anyone to survive. Saneatsu has to outsmart them all if he wants to make it out.
