Synopsis

Nai, a young boy searching for his missing friend, gets trapped by a beautiful woman with a taste for human flesh. A clever thief named Gareki just happens to be robbing her mansion at the same time. He creates a distraction and helps Nai escape, but they're caught when the woman returns—and transforms into a monstrous creature. The two barely manage to flee. While on the run, they're discovered by Circus, a government agency that handles crimes beyond the police's reach and protects people from varuga—man-eating monsters. Nai sees an opportunity: joining Circus might help him find his friend. Gareki agrees to join as well, and together they embark on a dangerous mission fighting varuga and slowly unraveling the truth behind Kafka, a mysterious organization pulling strings in the shadows.
