In this anthropomorphic animal society, a "Beastar" is the ultimate title—earned by those who bridge the divide between carnivores and herbivores through courage and leadership. Cherryton Academy hasn't had one in five years, but when an alpaca gets murdered on campus, tensions between species spike dangerously. The school desperately needs someone to restore peace. Things get complicated when Louis, the most obvious choice for Beastar, turns down the offer and leaves. The student council pivots, promising the title to whoever solves the murder.
