Synopsis

At Seishou Music Academy's performing arts program, students push themselves constantly to perfect their craft. When the class starts rehearsing a repeat of last year's performance, Karen Aijou—once passionate and driven—finds herself okay with taking a smaller role. That changes fast when her childhood friend Hikari Kagura transfers to the academy, shaking up the whole group dynamic and reigniting Karen's spark. Then Karen discovers a hidden underground arena beneath the school where secret auditions are held to determine the academy's "Top Star." She throws herself into these mysterious trials and quickly realizes just how brutal competition for the top really is. Even if circumstances try to separate them, Karen and Hikari are determined to keep the promise they made as kids: to become stars together.
