Synopsis

Myne sees a golden opportunity when she learns the Holy Church needs mana to power their relics—maybe they can cure her dangerous mana disorder in the process. After catching sight of their massive library, she doesn't hesitate. She begs to join the Church, offering up her abnormally high mana reserves in exchange. They accept and give her the blue robes of a noble-born apprentice priestess, even though she's a commoner. For Myne, the mana and nobility stuff is secondary. What matters is that she finally has unlimited access to books. But moving into the Church's ranks comes with serious complications. Noble society is cold and political, and Myne quickly discovers she's trapped in a minefield. There's tension between the blue-robed nobles and grey-robed commoners, the High Priest actively working against her, and her new staff constantly causing problems. With support from her family, friends, and the mysterious Head Priest—whose actual motives are anyone's guess—Myne has to navigate this mess while pursuing her real goal: becoming the ultimate librarian.
