Synopsis

After a rough breakup, Retsuko shuts herself off from romance and dives into virtual dating instead. Her VR boyfriend is always supportive and dressed to impress, but hey—he doesn't come cheap. Desperate for cash, Retsuko hits a parked van with a rental car and ends up on the hook with Hyoudou, a grumpy cheetah who puts her to work as an accountant for his underground idol group. The stress piles on fast, giving her plenty of material for some cathartic death metal screaming sessions. As everything spirals, Retsuko starts questioning what she actually wants out of life. Is this gray, suffocating office routine really it? Or is there something better waiting for her—whether that's real love or actual career satisfaction? She's got a lot to figure out.
