Synopsis

Mitsumi Iwakura leaves her small hometown for Tokyo to attend an elite high school, convinced she can pull off her dream of changing Japan for the better. She's got everything planned out perfectly—or so she thinks. Things go sideways immediately. On her first day, she gets lost and shows up late. Lucky for her, she runs into another freshman in the same boat: Sousuke Shima. They team up and make it to school together, but Mitsumi manages to bomb her first impression with the whole class anyway. Still, people start paying attention to her friendship with Sousuke—probably because the two of them couldn't be more different. As time goes on, it's unclear whether Mitsumi will actually manage to connect with her classmates, but at least she won't be doing it alone.
