Synopsis

Queen Victoria sends Ciel Phantomhive, a young earl, to Weston College to track down one of her relatives who's gone missing. The prestigious boarding school is known for its traditions and rigorous academics, but it's also the perfect cover for an investigation. Thanks to his noble background, 13-year-old Ciel gets enrolled as a student without much fuss—and his butler Sebastian tags along, landing a teaching job at the school. The problem? The Queen's relative is nowhere to be found on campus. Worse, the headmaster is the only person who might know what happened, but he's basically unreachable. The only people who get regular access to him are the four dormitory heads, collectively known as the Prefect 4: Edgar Redmond, Lawrence Bluewer, Herman Greenhill, and Gregory Violet. If Ciel wants answers, he'll need to get on the good side of all four of them. But Weston College has secrets lurking beneath its polished exterior, and uncovering them turns out to be far more complicated than he bargained for.
