Synopsis

Wang Baole is an upbeat, chubby guy living in a world where spiritual power is everywhere. When he takes the entrance exam for the prestigious Dragon Taoist Academy, he manages to see through the illusion the proctors threw at the test—and aces it anyway. His performance earns him a special recruitment spot in the Magic Department. From there, he starts his journey as a cultivator, facing off against monsters and clearing every hurdle in his path to get stronger. Along the way he picks up a bunch of loyal friends, and together they stumble through one comedic adventure after another.
