Synopsis

Sakiko Togawa's comfortable world fell apart the day she quit CRYCHIC. It wasn't an easy choice—breaking that vow devastated her. Struggling to survive afterward, she was barely holding on until a cherished memory got corrupted, pushing her over the edge. Desperate to find meaning and fix what she'd lost, Sakiko started Ave Mujica, a masked symphonic metal band. The members aren't united by any real common goal—they're just tied together by their own separate needs and broken dreams. On stage, they perform as a gothic musical spectacle all about loss and starting over. It's haunting and it works. But things start falling apart as the band members clash over their beliefs, and old traumas bubble up to the surface. The mask they've all been wearing cracks under the pressure. Sakiko especially finds herself unraveling as the whole thing threatens to collapse.
