Synopsis

Kikyo Private Academy and Chidori Public High School couldn't be more different. Kikyo's a prestigious all-girls school full of wealthy students from important families, while Chidori's notorious for being packed with delinquents. So naturally, the students from both schools clash constantly. Rintarou Tsumugi, a Chidori student, is tall and intimidating-looking, which makes most people avoid him—even though he's actually pretty gentle. One day while working at his family's pastry shop, a customer takes one look at him and bolts. But she comes back the next day to apologize, introducing herself as Kaoruko Waguri, an upbeat girl who seems genuinely sorry. Rintarou really appreciates that Kaoruko doesn't judge him by his appearance, and he's excited to see her again. Then he finds out she goes to Kikyo, and suddenly their budding relationship becomes way more complicated. Dating someone from the rival school isn't exactly going to go over well.
